Sappi Europe announces price rise for all mechanical coated paper grades in Europe by 10-12%

Sappi Europe announces a price increase for all its mechanical coated paper grades by 10-12% for all European customers with immediate effect as contracts permit. This is in addition to the previously announced and implemented increases for other geographies.

Heavy input cost rises in raw materials and freight rates necessitate the increase and will likely be followed by subsequent increases should the trend continue.

Sappi’s sales team will be in contact with customers to discuss the detail and support the implementation.
