Jazzing it up with Digital – Sappi Fine Paper Europe to present new digital Sappi l Jaz book in Lucerne.
The recently launched Jaz book will be Sappi’s focus during the 2013 Hunkeler innovationdays. This is Sappi’s new digital coated paper designed for printing books. Françoise Accou, Product Service Manager said “We have accumulated a lot of expertise in digital printing over the years, particularly as a result of our partnership with HP, so it was only natural that we would create a digital paper (in a lower grammage) specifically for full colour book production. The high dimensional stability of the paper along with high opacity means that it has the right characteristics for the job it has been designed to do.”

The potential for personalisation means that digital printing is as appealing to individuals wanting to create a unique product at an affordable price, such as a self-published book, as it is to large retailers who want to treat their customers as individuals through personalised direct mail.”
