Erie County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Program is part of a national organization to address the needs of abused and neglected children by pairing them with specially trained volunteer advocates.
Erie/Ottowa County CASA Program in Ohio is losing its federal marketing budget in October of 2008. Saremo Inc. will use the Sappi grant to provide marketing support to the organization and staff creating business cards, letterhead, envelopes etc. Without its marketing budget, CASA is losing its ability to recruit new volunteers so it will also be important to create a direct mail campaign that will utilize variable data technology to specifically target prospective volunteers. Posters will be created for maintaining a presence in schools and public locations.
