Following our announcement on 8 May of a price increase for European coated fine and coated mechanical reels, Sappi Europe confirm our intention to raise prices also for woodfree coatedsheets by 8% and a further increase on woodfree uncoated sheets and reels by 5-8% effective 1st of July 2015.
Ongoing cost increases allied with present price levels has led to unsustainable profitability for this business also, therefore corrective price actions are inevitable.
Our customers will be personally informed by our sales managers who will provide them with any information they may require.
