ASTAR—Autism Spectrum Treatment and Research addresses the overwhelming need for diagnosis, research and appropriate treatment for those living with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
One in 150 people are now diagnosed with some form of Autism. There is a dearth of information, not to mention services, for those living with autism. There is no cure. Treatment in most cases is not covered by insurance.
tmarks project objective is to arm ASTAR with the materials to create awareness among families so that assessment, treatment and informational resources can be accessed, regardless of the families' ability to pay. The goal is also to position ASTAR to leverage key relationships with potential donors and to invigorate fundraising efforts via events.
