California Transparency in Supply Chains Act Statement
Sappi North America (“SNA”) manufactures products for four diversified businesses – high quality Coated Graphic Papers, Specialised Cellulose, Release Papers and Specialty Packaging – at three manufacturing facilities located in the United States. In excess of 94% of the third-party spend (by value) of the materials and services we use to manufacture our products come from the United States, Canada and the European Union. A relatively small percentage of the goods SNA sells are manufactured by an affiliate in the European Union. Given the nature of our supply relationships and the materials supplied, as well as the highly developed labor and employment laws in the United States, Canada and the European Union that apply to our business and the business of our suppliers, SNA believes the specific inquiries described in the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act are not applicable to our business. SNA is committed to operating in a sustainable manner consistent with our guiding principles of "people, planet and prosperity", and we invite interested parties to review our Global Commitment here.
