Her keen eye has been critical in establishing Hyperakt’s visual voice and has resulted in brilliant designs for clients such as UNICEF, Ford Foundation, and Malala Fund.
She exhibits rigorous discipline as well as cheerful humor, making her a sharp creative, a savvy entrepreneur, and nurturing mentor. Julia initiated and leads Lunch Talks at Hyperakt, a monthly event to ignite collaboration and idea-sharing among the design community.
She graduated from Parsons The New School of Design in New York and has received design accolades from organizations such as Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts, Brand New, and How Magazine.
She is currently active on the board of AIGA NY chapter and mentors members of New Inc. Born in Ukraine, Julia relocated to the United States at the age of fifteen. She lives with her husband, two kids, and a dog in Brooklyn, NY.
