Concrete admixture and cement improvement

Lignin – nature's renewable dispersant. Sappi’s lignin is used as a dispersant in the admixture industry for improved particle dispersion to maintain slump of fresh concrete in a process-friendly manner.

Improved dispersion of the cement particles allows for a reduced amount of water to be used and the resulting reduction in the water-to-cement ratio yields significantly greater strength after hardening.
