All of our solutions use woodfibre and cellulose from sustainably-managed forests with high levels of certification. We also create solutions using systems that lower carbon emissions, prioritize alternative fuel sources, and have responsible waste streams. With certifications from leading environmental organizations like the SFI®, PEFC, FSC™, and an EcoVadis Platinum rating—putting Sappi at the top 1% of pulp and paper companies—you can be confident you’re working with a responsible partner.
Sappi is certified to several third-party forestry certification systems: The Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®) program, the Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC™ N003159) and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC/01-44-43).
