The San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center

Grant Awarded: $25,000

The San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center is dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and neglect, the promotion of healthy families and the mental health of children.

The SFCAPC works to prevent child abuse and neglect on two levels: 1) by providing direct supoortive services to at-risk families; and 2) by raising community awareness through public education and advocacy.

Each year, the SFCAPC provides comprehensive services to more than 1,375 families, educates more than 5,000 elementary school children and their parents about safety, and trains more than 5,000 mandated child abuse reporters. They serve children and families across San Francisco and from virtually all ethnic groups.

Our project is to design, produce and implement a new logo and identity system, and a strategic communication program. To better communicate the SFCAPC mission to their far reaching donor, supporter and constituent base, we will create a donor brochure, newsletter, family pamphlet and event fundraising materials.
