2022 ITM Winners

Our Ideas that Matter grant program provides funds for creative professionals working with a nonprofit to produce projects for the cause you care about most.

By funding programs designed to make a positive change in our society, Sappi has helped over 500 grant winners bring their vision, strategic thinking and innovative print and communications programs to life. These partnerships—between designers and nonprofits and between designers and Sappi—prove the power of creativity to inspire action, unite people and achieve goals, as together we strive to make a difference in the world.

This year applicants were asked to identify United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) addressed by their projects and the projects selected do exactly that. The grant winners’ projects are aligned with the work Sappi has embraced globally as part of our sustainability initiatives, including the SDGs addressed in the 2022 projects: access to quality education, ending poverty, encouraging good health and well-being, reducing inequalities, fostering gender equality, building sustainable communities and supporting climate action.

By helping to support nonprofits—that are tackling these important issues through the impact of great design and the power of print on paper—the six selected grants will make a difference in lives and communities around the world. We’re proud to announce the Sappi 2022 Ideas that Matter grant recipients!

Together, we can all design a better tomorrow.
