Sappi North America Invests $25 Million in Cloquet, Minn. Mill

Company enhances pulp manufacturing productivity to expand capabilities, building and supporting growth strategy

CLOQUET, Minn., May 7, 2019 -- Sappi North America, Inc., a leading producer and supplier of diversified paper, packaging products and dissolving pulp, today announced the completion of a $25 million capital investment at its Cloquet, Minn. mill to debottleneck areas of the pulp manufacturing process. The bulk of the investment was made in the recovery areas of the pulp mill.
