Maurice Woods

Maurice Woods is the Founder/Executive Director of Inneract Project, a nonprofit that creates pathways for youth of color to design through education, advocacy, and entrepreneurship.

For this work, Maurice was awarded a Sappi Ideas that Matter grant in 2009. Professionally, Maurice has designed extensive identity, retail, exhibit and interactive programs for clients such as Nike, Greyhound, Symantec, Microsoft and Google. In 2016, he received the AIGA San Francisco Fellow Award and in 2018 co-hosted the AIGA National Awards Gala. He has won numerous awards, including a Jefferson Award, lectured nationally and internationally and contributed to various media outlets including the Wall Street Journal. Maurice currently works as a Senior Experience Designer at Microsoft.
