EducationSuperHighway

Grant Awarded; $35,810

EducationSuperHighway is the leading non-profit focused on upgrading Internet infrastructure to enable digital learning in America's K-12 public schools.

America's schools need an upgrade. Digital learning can transform education, but it requires robust broadband. And today, 40 million students don't have the speed they need That's 72% of all K-12 students in the US.

But there is a solution. The modernization of a FCC program called E-Rate can help our kids learn at gigabit speed. This grant will go towards the development of material in print, digital and motion that will be used in Washington to help shape President Obama's new ConnectED initiative and with it, modernization of this $2.4 billion E-Rate program.
