Following on from two previously successful calendars and produced to a luxury standard on Sappi's bright white cartonboard Algro Design® Duo, the 2014 Mondberge Species Conservation calendar is a feast for the eye.
Sappi Fine Paper Europe, the leading European producer of fine paper for packaging and graphic arts, today announced that it is the recipient of a prestigious RISI award. Sappi was recognised with an award for ‘Advances and Innovation in Speciality Papers’ for its flexible packaging papers with a functional Mineral Oil Barrier (MOB). The annual PPI Awards were launched in 2009 by RISI, the leading information provider to the global forest products industry.

Following Glen Pearce’s promotion to the post of Group Chief Financial Officer Sappi Ltd, Sappi Europe SA is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Blyth to the post of Chief Financial Officer of Sappi Europe SA starting 1 July 2014.
At interpack, Sappi Fine Paper Europe will be demonstrating three new additions to its speciality paper range that allow brand owners and converters to differentiate their products. Sappi will be located on stand D19 in Hall 9 at the show, scheduled for 08-14 May, 2014, in Dusseldorf, Germany.
Due to strong demand supply balance in uncoated fine papers and the sustained increases in the cost structure, Sappi Europe SA increases prices for all its uncoated fine paper (UWF) business in Europe and Export markets by 5%.
