Launched by Minister-President of Flanders (Belgium), Kris Peeters on Friday, 28th September, the Treehouse (www.the-treehouse.be) is the result of a joint vision and partnership between Sappi Fine Paper Europe, ANB (the Agency for Nature and Forests), the Belgian Municipality of Hechtel-Eksel, and communication agency Proximity BBDO.

The sun came out to greet the 15 teams competing in Sappi fine Paper Europe's Royal Challenge Bike Race on Saturday 13th October. The 4 members of Benelux’s Team Roto (Rotosmeets) demonstrated true endurance skills, and team work, by claiming victory in the 70km time trial. Held around Sappi’s Nijmegen paper mill in Holland, the event marked the launch of a new range of product brochures for Sappi Royal Roto, Sappi Royal Press 400 and Sappi Royal Xpress, some of Sappi’s best known products used for leading magazines, catalogues, inserts, flyers and commercial print.
Europe wins seven out of a possible eleven coveted trophies in a demonstration of printing prowess, and commitment to excellence in printed communication, embodying the essence of Sappi’s biannual International Printers of the Year Awards.
In the light of further, sustained increases in raw materials, energy and transport costs, Sappi Fine Paper Europe has reviewed current margins for its Graphic papers and will raise its prices where they have become unsustainable.
Sappi Fine Paper Europe is very proud to have won one award in the 2012 Pulp & Paper International Awards, during a ceremony hosted on 12 November in Brussels. The awards are dedicated to recognising the achievements of companies, mills and individuals in the pulp and paper sector and are truly global in scale.
